Dion Light: Graduated with a bachelor of arts in History from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. Playing baseball through college at both the University of San Diego and Cal Poly SLO gave Dion a great sense of team comradery along with a competitive fire. Dion's first job out of college was running a house painting business. He broke the sales record in Southern California his first year and became a general manager. In 2003, Dion decided to use his knowledge he had learned being a general manager with a large house painting business towards insurance and Light Insurance was born. Dion is an avid surfer and enjoys most outdoor sports; including but, not limited to, mountain biking, running and golf. Dion's wife Beth, is a Nicu nurse at Rady's Children's Hospital.
